Site Navigation

Nothing heavy, just a simple guide to help you find your way around!

Below this text is an image that shows part of a typical page in the main website.
Remember, it is ONLY an image, so you will not be able to make anything happen here -
- - - it's for illustration purposes only!

Remember also that the appearance of a website may vary slightly from one computer to another, so treat this as a general guide, and adapt it to suit your own computer if necessary.

You may need to SCROLL up and down this page to alternately refer to the image or this text.

To scroll up and down, simply click on a SCROLL BAR with your mouse, and
whilst HOLDING YOUR MOUSE BUTTON DEPRESSED,
simply drag the scroll bar up or down: the page will then move up and down at your control.

A scroll bar can usually be found at the extreme right of your screen, and is shown coloured GREEN in the image below at B, though yours is most likely to be a neutral colour.

Now, scroll down past the image to the next text box.

GuideImage

The image shows part of a typical page in the main website.
It may look different on your computer if you have a 'Favourites' list displayed at the left.

All pages on the main part of the website are split into two areas.

On the left (below the green X ) is a vertical column of small images that work as 'LINKS' to other parts of the site. Immediately to the right of them (shown coloured green in the image, and identified by the green A ) is another scroll bar. This can be used to move the column of links up and down, allowing access to parts of the column that may at times extend off your screen at either top or bottom. It will move independantly of the main part of the web page.

To the right of this column of links is the main display area for the site, where you will find images of our current stock, and information.

Simply scroll down the column of links on the left, until you reach a category you wish to see in detail, then just click on the link with your mouse. For example: you may choose to click on the 'Mauser' button / link, 'Fine Sporting Rifles', or perhaps 'What's New'.
Scrolling further down the column of links will bring you to all other sections of the site, including sections that deal with specific calibres, sights and optics, shotguns etc.

Which ever link you click on will then display that section within the main area on the right.
THIS display area can then be scrolled up and down in the same way, using the scroll bar at the extreme right, coloured green in the image above, and marked with the green B

That's almost all there is to it!

Occasionally (particularly with smaller screens, or if you have a 'Favourites' column showing on your PC at the left), you may need to scroll the screen from side to side. This is simply accomplished by using the lower scroll bar, which would appear in the area at the very bottom of your screen, marked in the image above with a green C

Throughout the site, you may find other links marked. In the image above, the top rifle shows an example just below the picture - ( click HERE ). Typically, these links will open a completely new window, displaying much larger detail of a particularly attractive feature or item.
Because these images are often much larger than on the main site, this is another example of when you may need to scroll the screen sideways! When you've finished, just close that page down to return to where you were to begin with.

And finally . . . . . (again depending on your own computer, but very common). In the image above, at the top left is a red circle. Within here are a couple of arrows that will usually let you jump backwards and forwards between pages, which on occasion may be easier!

NOW: all you need to do is click on the red button, either below or at the top of the page.
This will return you to the main part of the site, but will keep this page open for reference if needed.
