Introduced in 1959 by Winchester, this rimfire MAGNUM cartridge offers
a velocity of over 2300 feet per second with a 30-grain bullet!
Put another way, the 40-grain bullet at 100 yards has a similar energy and velocity
of a standard .22LR round at the muzzle (point blank!) NICE!!!

Negligible recoil, relatively quiet ... a very nice, but much under-rated calibre.
