WHO WANTS A TRUE 'CLASSIC' BRITISH MADE RIFLE?
Once again we have managed to locate and secure yet another (almost) unique firearm!

Following the creation of the .244 calibre by David Lloyd, rifles offered by Lloyd in .243 were originally conversions from the .244. Wishing to concentrate on the larger magnum calibres, Lloyd sold the .244 to Holland and Holland in the 50's, and later in the century made a very few rifles in .243 calibre, this being one of that select series, manufactured circa. 1974.

Anyone familiar with these truly unique and exceptional rifles will know that David Lloyd concentrated on his passion ....... Hill Stalking , producing  calibre's with good longer range, flat shooting characteristics from magnum calibre's.
His philosophy was simply to 'build the rifle to the scope'. If the scope CANNOT move then it will remain accurate. Every other manufacturer predominantly relies upon traditional scope mounts generally screwed to the action or clamped to it, then the scope is added.

With a Lloyd the whole build process begins with the scope.
(The rifle will shoot where the scope is aimed provided it is zeroed in and cannot move).
It was, apparently, only in the later years that the firm agreed to produce the odd calibre away from the normal selection available for specific clients with different requirements.

This RARE rifle is therefore not only extremely collectable, it is a  very useful weapon for the woodland stalker, where the lighter calibre is perhaps more suited, though an effective calibre in competent hands on any of our species of deer.

With engineering second to none, extremely low profile mounts producing a slim, compact and very 'mountable' rifle this is going to make the next discerning owner very happy.
